Jacob Jones serves as an ecologist at Sabine & Waters Inc., where his responsibilities encompass conducting wetland delineations, assessing threatened and endangered species, SWPPP inspections, assisting with controlled burns, and various other environmental projects.

A 2024 graduate of Clemson University, Jacob earned a degree in Environmental Science and Natural Resources with a concentration in conservation biology. During his time at Clemson, he completed two internships: one with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR), assisting marine biologists with SCECAP and other smaller studies, and another with the South Carolina Center for Birds of Prey, where he contributed to the rehabilitation of injured birds in their medical clinic.

Raised in the Charleston area, Jacob developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors and Lowcountry wildlife. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys creating music and often spends his weekends exploring the region’s waterways on sunny afternoons.
